Over the last few years, I’ve been treating myself to an Olkapolka skirt each time we travel to South Africa. I’m drawn to the eclectic mix of colours and fabrics, as well as the comfy jersey fabric and the flattering style of the A-line skirts. Natasha helps me to put together my Olkapolka collections; she is always so accommodating and bubbly. I met her for the first time in the Spring and it was great to finally put a face to a name. She’s a Brit living in and loving South Africa and works from a fabulous residence, set in a stunning garden of aloes and succulents, on the outskirts of Pretoria.

The Olkapolka designers are influenced and inspired by the colours, nature and people of South Africa. They only make small runs of their quirky clothes, so I know that I now own some vintage pieces, which are utterly individual in this country. For each design featured, I will only be able to obtain a small number of pieces, so if you’re interested in ordering, please don’t delay, in case your size sells out.
